One wonders what will happen next to horrify the world. Trying very hard not to be affected adversely by all that I hear on the news and hoping that my 'Happy Light' will help keep the depression away. Starting a couple of new projects has been a good thing too - something to take my mind off what's happening elsewhere. Ontario has entered a deeper lockdown as of Thursday to try to lower the numbers but it will only work if people abide by it. We'll see.
On a brighter note - I like your latest creations (even tho' pink isn't my most favourite of colours). Having said that, I'm toying with using it on the back of my new project. Another 'we'll see' moment!Magpie's Mumblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852241848575954128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4814262528756246837.post-47920570682628755752021-01-15T15:18:56.487-07:002021-01-15T15:18:56.487-07:00I agree with your assessment of both the year and ...I agree with your assessment of both the year and the events in my sort of backyard. It was horrible but I was not surprised. It had been building up to that crescendo for a long time. On the upside that soft bundle of pink cuteness is the perfect way to begin the new year. Parting will be such sweet sorrow but I know he'll come back raring to go!! Hope you're still blissfully sewing away and not paying much attention to the shenanigans going on everywhere (or so it seems).Susie Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01983123679473675732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4814262528756246837.post-90957236690070715312021-01-12T09:58:55.446-07:002021-01-12T09:58:55.446-07:00What a bunch of lovely pinks! But it's time - thank you for that. Ahh, what a great way to miss out on the Wednesday festivities like mass non-mask exposure on purpose and overall stupidity. Enough on that though. {{hugs}} I hope this is a better week leading up to the inauguration, which might be a scary event as well. ~smile~ Roseanne Home Sewn By Ushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13943739387560629258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4814262528756246837.post-38726090620286342982021-01-10T11:56:06.527-07:002021-01-10T11:56:06.527-07:00I laughed out loud at your first sentence, even th...I laughed out loud at your first sentence, even though there is nothing laughable about the situation that prompted it. You're lucky to have been unaware throughout the day. My husband was glued to the TV, so I had to listen whether I wanted to or not. I'm not very good at screening out ambient noise. I'm glad your machine enjoyed it's time at the spa and will hopefully provide satisfactory service for another year. Can't have you slowing down on quilt production or scrap recycling.
Pat

MissPathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06807348837446241284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4814262528756246837.post-19312297389575299952021-01-10T07:30:53.589-07:002021-01-10T07:30:53.589-07:00That line of stars is so perfect in between that p...That line of stars is so perfect in between that print!
